Hi All,

I have recently made the switch from apt. management to site manager for a large mixed use community. This morning one of our condo owners called to say she's moving away and wondered if I'd be interested in managing her unit for her. The management company I work for does not handle leasing, however we are allowed to help owners on our own time. Although I managed apartments for over 12 years I've only ever worked for management companies. I don't even know where to start, or even if I want to get involved. Anyone had experience with this? If so what would you suggest? If I do decide to help her do I need a contract? I know the condo will go fast as there are very few rentals in my community and no unit has ever been available for lease more than 4 days.
