Hey! We go to the dollar store and get a strainer, shrink wrap( it comes with a bow), colorful tissue paper and 2 wine glasses. Then we go to the grocery store and get a pack of noodles, pasta sauce, and a bottle of wine( cheap but good quality). We put all the goodies inside the strainer, wrap it in the shrink wrap and bow. All comes out to less than $15 dollars and it is a perfect quick move-in dinner gift for new residents and they get to keep the wine glasses and strainer!

Give them the best move-in gift of all, Updater! Updater provides the resident an efficient move-in experience that includes direct links to forward mail, set up utilities, update their accounts (think loyalty programs such as Marriott, Southwest, etc), purchase their renters insurance, find a professional moving company, set up Internet/cable, find local deals, connect to DMV/voters registration, and several more steps. The cost is incredibly inexpensive and your residents will love you for it.
