How amazing. It’s too seldom the people of an organization are recognized and rewarded properly. This company GOT IT RIGHT! Enjoy the Christmas week and Happy New Year.

My company also closes each year from Dec 23 at noon to January 2nd. To me it’s a no brainer. No one gets any work done that week. Most residents are traveling. No vendors are around. So why not let your team recharge and come back fresh for a new year. It was an easy sell to our owners. And we get a Xmas bonus too!

Yes and if we can’t vend out cleaning and sorting packages - any time worked that week it paid at 1.5. Hoping hours worked ends up being minimal and equitable so everyone enjoys the well deserved time.

Very nice. My company HRI is very similar in giving us extra paid down time and a lot of gratitude. Makes a big difference when you know your company appreciates you!
