Being more mature emanates a sense of security and calm for the community. You are also a demo that is considered reliable. Contact the PM companies directly, don't go through an agency.

Age is not a factor and you are more responsible than some. 48 years young is young! Make sure you embrace some of the really cool new technology that is now out there, it's fun and cool. And I"m older than you!

Absolutely not! A great Leasing Agent is a great Leasing Agent no matter what his or her age is. Some of my best leasing people throughout my career have been mature employees who are well trained and are leasing because that is what they want to do and are most comfortable with. A top notch leasing person can build a career around their skill and ability to help turn around occupancy on problem properties or get a new lease up off the ground. Any manager who is good knows this and will be thrilled to have you as part of their team.

Best of luck to you!

I think your age is a plus; more life experience to bring to the table. Good Luck!

Hi Matt,

Thanks for the response!

It's going really well, it does not seem to be an issue!

Larry, I don't know how others would feel, but I wouldn't give it a second thought. Your age has no bearing on how you'll perform, it's your ability to connect with people (both in person and digitally) that matters!
