My property usually paid for these modifications and left them for the next resident

Resonable Modification: YES. But lets be honest - how much would it really cost the property overall? Less than $500? Considering adding grab bars and a higher toliet can be done in house. Personally I believe something as small as this is going above and beyond - sometimes the property should take a "small hit" if it makes someone's life easier and in the long run you have a happy resident that will let others know how happy you made them.

Imo- reasonable accommodation. We recently did this for a short term lease... the small price tag on this request paid off big with 2 positive reviews and every survey they’ve submitted since move in has been a 5/5!
Colin R. Ferguson - good point! It is best to have a record though, of course. I found this article to be a good and simple source of information. It is from Idaho, but provides some excellent info! ifhcidaho.org/resources/guide-to-reasona...he-fair-housing-act/
