Topic: Seeking a reputable Property Insurance company in Houston

We are seeking a reputable property insurance company someone can refer us to. We are currently working a broker that just does not take priority in responding to our calls and emails from time to time. Its time for us to look around and change company.
We are seeking GL Flood and Windstorm coverage.

When you find one, please post it here. We have 7 complexes and work with an agent out of Galveston and another out of Beaumont. Neither have any sense of urgency. We couldn't even get the Beaumont company to give us a price to take over the properties covered by the Galveston agent.

I think the issue is the Wind Storm, which is all State driven. It seems the agents just do not care, since 'maybe' they don't get as good of commission on it. That is the only thing that makes sense.

In closing, again, if you do find an insurance company that 'cares' and exhibits some type of work ethic, and customer service attitude, Please post it here.

Have you talked to HARCO Insurance ? I've worked with John Hill on a different project and he is great. Not sure if they cover exactly what you want, but worth talking to.
