Who Are You?

The Business Development Insider candidate will be a self-motivated and competitive person who is passionate about driving results, and as such, qualified candidates will possess:

  • Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, or business development
  • 2+ years of Experience in the Multifamily or Real Estate industry a plus
  • Self-motivated go-getter who excels at problem solving
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work independently and multi-task with minimal supervision, while effectively identifying, organizing and prioritizing multiple projects 
  • Proven track record for articulating a product/service and building rapport with prospects.
  • Ability to pinpoint customer pain points and accurately assess the transactional value for both the company and customer.
  • Strong communicator with a knack for getting both customers and team members alike excited about what you’re saying
  • Maintain excellent organizational and analytical skills with technical abilities
  • Proactive ability to analyze data points and provide key insights and recommendations
  • Ability to suggest and pitch process improvements or suggest efficiencies to improve the sales team performance
  • Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, presentation and on social media.
  • Ability to lead a meeting, both in person or virtual.
  • Experience working for a startup or a scaling culture with a high degree of autonomy
  • You demonstrate the utmost integrity, both with clients and with colleagues.
  • You are resilient and goal-oriented, with a track record of exceeding expectations
  • Maintain high-level teamwork and collaborative skills


What will you do at Multifamily Insiders?

  • This is a Remote/ Work from home position, but will require occasional travel for corporate and client meetings
  • Research target leads and prospective clients while maintaining detailed documentation and analysis of leads in HubSpot
  • Act as a subject matter expert on current technologies
  • Ability to build meaningful relationships with clients and educate them on the benefits of Multifamily Insiders 
  • Schedule appointments, demos while maintaining high-level activity through any touchpoint possible 
  • Demonstrate a “Hunter” sales mentality to develop new business opportunities. Mindset of prospecting for new business actively, not relying solely on a lead list:
    • Complete market research and monitor client/consumer activity
    • Adjust sales tactics based on tests and new insights in the field
    • Respond to company generated leads and work through the Hubspot pipeline
    • Acquire new customers by reaching out to leads through phone, email, social warm/cold calling while leveraging current clients and/or contacts in the industry
  • Demonstrate high-level B2B and inside sales related skills:
    • Research customer’s individual or business needs through questions and research
    • Evaluate customer needs prior to all meetings and during the sales process
    • Ability to make recommendations for the customer
    • Qualify customer’s need and ability to purchase and place in pipeline appropriately
    • Prepare and present proposals/quotes/contracts following meetings
    • Manage appropriate and timely proposal follow up after the initial offering
    • Utilize internal resources wisely to secure business deals
  • Demonstrate high-level customer service and people skills:
    • Return all customer and internal calls within 24-hours
    • Maintain high-level proactive customer service and people skills
    • Follow up on customer requests and coordinate solutions with required departments/supervisors
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of the Train the Trainer series, including a visible role on each online event.
